House Design Idea for a 120 sqm Lot Area

House Design Idea for a 120 sqm Lot Area

It’s not only about the structure when it comes to creating your own dream home. Another crucial consideration is the size of your property. There are numerous building codes that an architect must follow when developing your dream home. And one of the prerequisites for a professional to begin constructing a structure is the lot size.

Bungalows, for starters, are the most basic sort of residential structure. It refers to a single-story house that was invented in India and is perfect for a small plot of land.

Two proposed bungalow dwellings are shown below, both with a 120 sqm lot but with distinct styles and layouts:

  1. Modern Asian Zen Style

The project above features one master’s bedroom, children’s bedroom, kitchen, dining area, living area, and toilet & bath.

Exterior Perspective
Living Area

The living room is a common area in a house where people gather to relax and socialize. This is also the first area that visitors and family notice when they come into the house. This residential space is 8.41 sqm.

Dining Area

The dining room and the kitchen must always be in close proximity to one another. The plan in this design was open to allow for easier movement from food preparation to eating. The dining room is 10.05 sqm., while the kitchen is 5.20 sqm.

Kitchen Area
Master’s Bedroom

This master’s bedroom is 10.50 sqm. in size. This is where the family’s head of household relaxes and sleeps. It is customary for them to be slightly larger than other bedrooms in the house, with their own toilet and bath

Children’s Bedroom

The children’s room is a standard room that is slightly smaller than the master bedroom. This is the children’s personal place for sleeping, relaxing, and studying. This room is 6.30 sqm. in size.

2.Modern Bungalow

Exterior Perspective

The project above features one master’s bedroom, children’s bedroom, kitchen, dining area, living area, and toilet & bath. The total interior area used is 47.69 sqm.

Living Area

When you first go into the house, the living room is the center point. The goal of this communal place is frequently to socialize and bond with one another. This living area is 8.58 sqm. in the project above.

Dining/Kitchen Area

It’s best if the dining room and kitchen are right next to each other. This open layout of the two sections takes up at least 11.68 sqm. It’s good enough to prepare, cook, and eat without causing any problems.

Master’s Bedroom

The master’s bedroom is the largest room in the house, and it is where the family’s heads rest and enjoy personal space. It takes up 7.12 sqm. in this project, which is more than other bedrooms.

Boy’s Bedroom
Girl’s Bedroom

This plan includes two bedrooms, one for a boy and one for a girl. These are common rooms with plenty of room for the kids to rest and study. The boy’s bedroom in this project is 5.57 sqm., while the girl’s bedroom is 7.12 sqm.

These are some of the most critical considerations when selecting a house plan for a specific lot. This should serve as your starting point. When you begin the home plan selection process, other factors such as orientation and future expansion possibility will come into play.
